If the weather isn’t very promising, there are some spectacular drives to embark upon, with wonderful scenery and views.
The B4343 being one of the best into Cwmystwyth, thought the Elan Valley to Rhayadr. This route takesn you along narrow calm open roads with breath taking views of the Cambrian Mountains, Wildlife, Reservoirs and Rivers.
The Drive to Aberystwyth from the Hotel overlooks the Rheidol Valley, and the vast countryside right into aberystwyth. You can also cut down into the Rheidol Valley in the car crossing the famous Rheidol Railway and over the Cwm Rheidol river along beautiful country roads.
